OUR TOP 3 SUMMER WATCHES

As summer starts for some of us it’s time for changing leather straps for the fresher stainless steel ones (If your watch allows it and has one of course).
But that’s not all, with summer the blue dial season begins, with a more fresh, vibrant and light look it’s for many people the obvious choice for a perfect summer watch fitted for almost every occasion.
So, due to this seasoned demands we had the idea of choosing our TOP 3 summer watches.
In my opinion, summer is the perfect time to give some wrist time to those sport/luxury watches you surely have.
Flashier and contrasting watches can be easily noticeable in the autumn /winter season since this are seasons of neutral, dark colors, where a classic and discreet watch usually ends up fitting the person and outfit a lot better.
But in summer those bright and contrasting colors look just perfect. Bringing life to your whole outfit and wrist.
Doing a TOP 3 isn’t easy, we all have different styles and opinions and when it comes to watches this challenge seems to get even harder.
So, the solution was choosing 3 different styles of watches that could fit different occasions and personalities.
The 3 occasions are Events, Holidays and Work.
Our first choice present on the TOP 3 was obvious, mixing classiness with sportiness, with a perfectly finished Oyster case and bracelet. Any guesses?
The Rolex Datejust 116200 with a beautiful blue sunburst dial.
For this one I immediately thought about my good friend Pierre, who has this beautiful watch and dedicates most of his Instagram post to showing its awesomeness to all of us.
And if there’s a Rolex that gives me chills every time I see it, it’s this Datejust 116200, with perfect case shape, two tone finishing on the bracelet and perfectly squared hands and on top of it a beautiful but rather usual Cyclops lens.
This said I must relate the Datejust to a perfect watch for summer days at the office. Not too complicated but still able to remember us of the beautiful season outside of the office doors due to its amazing blue dial.
Do you still need to be convinced? Due to the Oyster Case and Oyster bracelet this model 116200 with 36mm fits perfectly and it’s one of my favorite sizes.
I know a lot of brands that ultimately catch my eye but when I do decide to try some models of that brand I find myself surprised because the material of the watch doesn’t do justice to the name of the brand, and since my “daily beater” is a TAG HEUER AQUARECER 200M I can say the stainless-steel links are pretty much perfect.
Light, smooth and really well finished. And this happens to be a characteristic that I give a lot of importance.
When it comes to this 116200 I couldn’t be happier, the usage of the 904L steel always touched my heart, in the Rolex models case.
There’s not much to talk about this new Rolex models with fellow enthusiasts but here are some:
The mechanism that serves as its heart is the regular 3135 with 48h of power reserve and COSC certification, and has a precision of +2/-2 sec/day.
