I don’t want to define this piece or even relate it in exclusivity with the summer season.

Due to it’s amazing complications, craftsmanship and astonishing design it’s not a watch made for banalizations.

But it happens to be in our TOP 3 as a watch perfectly suitable for events.

I’m talking a not so well known manufacturer, De Bethune.

When we talk about masterpieces it’s almost certain that De Bethune is amongst them.

You have multiple characteristics to point at in this model. And we loved them all.

Starting with the one that takes most of the attention, the amazing blued titanium dial with a star-studded layout with gold stars.

The blued dial ends up matching perfectly with the sterling silver hours and minute ring that with the rest of the rings (chapter ring etc) make a domed effect.

Pure magic if I must.

I can only imagine the beautiful yet smooth patina to be made with years in this De Bethune.

The watch feature a super-light Tourbillon carriage, De Bethune uses a 0.18g silicon-titanium tourbillon that spins once in every thirty seconds at its axis, and a balance oscillating at a frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour.

The brand’s watch designer decided to revive the traditions of the golden age of horology by endowing this movement with a historical majesty that are the “jumping seconds”.

If you look closely you can notice the curvature of the stainless steel hands and perfectly made hollow lugs, that only make it cooler and magical.
